Welcome to our intergenerational intentional community in Yaegl Country.

Together we are co-creating a regenerative way to live.

We are inspiring each other to live simply, peacefully & sustainably.

Gathering community & investors now.

Our Values & Vision

We are co-creating a small ecovillage using permaculture principles and design. In doing so we are modelling a resilient & sustainable way of living for the future. Our vision is to live with a small ecological & resource use footprint by practising deep adaptation and regenerative lifestyles. We actively care for the Earth & contribute to our wider community & culture.

Our Community

We are a diverse group of like hearted people. Supporting one another in creative endeavours, well-being & prosperity. Learning together & caring for our environment & each other. We are looking for other community minded people who want to make a difference.

Our Place

Jagera is nestled in forest on a sunny hillside overlooking Birriimbah (Clarence River) & the Maclean township. We share this land with the local and visiting native creatures and consider it a wildlife sanctuary. We have 2.5 acres dedicated to rainforest restoration, community orchards & gardens & shared facilities. And 2.5 acres are dedicated to 11 private lots.

Clarence Valley

Situated in the Yamba hinterland, we are just 20 minutes drive to Yamba, magnificent beaches and Yuraygir National Park. On the edge of the charming historic Maclean township, we can walk or cycle for groceries, a coffee, a swim at the pool, or to the local market. The mighty Birriimbah sweeps through the Clarence Valley, connecting our beautiful landscape to the coast.

Live Simply. Live Lightly. Create Change.

With approvals & certification finalised Jagera is excitedly at the build stage. The next phase is the construction of infrastructure so private lots can become available & affordable. And we happily invite homemakers to become a part of our EcoCommunity.

If you’d like to support this project, without living at Jagera, we are seeking community investors ASAP to fund the construction phase.

Your investment not only supports affordable sustainable housing, but also the modelling of achievable urban EcoCommunity design & execution that can be replicated Australia & worldwide.

If you would like to join us, living as a part of Jagera community, please register your interest. We are seeking people with a diverse range of skills, interests, ages, genders, family situations and cultural backgrounds so we can create a vibrant and creative regenerative neighbourhood community.

‘The time is now. Let’s live the regenerative lifestyles we aspire to.’

— ESHANA BRAGG, COFOUNDER OF JAGERA ECOCOMMUNITY
