1. How have you heard about the opportunity to become an Angel Investor?

2. What amount of investment are you willing and able to make? Are you able to raise enough money to buy a lot?

Please consider this question carefully, and determine how much money you can raise without providing security from the Jagera lot itself to a financial institution. (This security is only possible after the development is complete and converted to a Community Title.) Some key amounts / reference points include raising the deposit on a lot ($30,000); approx. half the price of a lot ($150,00 + GST); full lot price (approx. $300,000 + GST); price of lot plus building small house (approx $500,000 + GST).

3. How soon are you able to make this financial investment? If you wish to secure a lot, your $30,000 deposit should be paid at your earliest convenience. The remainder of the lot price (average $300,000 exc. GST) must be paid prior to construction of our shared infrastructure (December 2021). GST can be paid at completion of development and conversion to Community Title (anticipated June 2022).

Please provide us with as much information as you can about your realistic ability to become an Angel Investor.

4. What are your preferred arrangements? (Please tick as many options as relevant, and we realise that this might change when you meet your Hopeful Homemakers.)

I'd like to buy a lot "off the plan", build a small house or houses, and provide a long-term lease to community members

I'd like to provide a "bridging loan" for a Hopeful Homemaker to buy a lot on Jagera when it becomes "community title" and they can borrow from a bank or other financial institution (approx. 2 year loan max, during which time I earn interest)

I'd like to provide a longer term loan for a Hopeful Homemaker so that they can buy the lot (or lot and house) over time, whilst I retain a mortgage over the lot, and earn interest.

I am open to the idea of purchasing a lot together with a Hopeful Hopemaker who has access to a proportion of the capital required (eg., around half the price of a lot). This could be achieved through legal contracts such as Tenants in Common or Company Title.

6. Are there particular types of people who you would like to support into a secure home in our ecocommunity?

Some examples of people often disadvantaged when it comes to secure housing include Aboriginal and First Nations people (in particular local Yaegl custodians); young people including young families; older women; environmental and social activists and changemakers including cultural creatives, permaculture people, spiritual practitioners, peacemakers and trust builders. :D
